“WHY DID WE START YARD TO TABLE FARMS?”
Rewind to 2013… While on an RV trip around the country, three friends started to visit small artisan farms that were focused on growing high quality vegetables, fruits, and herbs- often times using unique heirloom varieties like purple cauliflower! The taste, variety, and nutrient density blew our minds - not to mention the health and ecological benefits from this type of farming. We knew right then we could never go back to buying mass produced produce from big box grocery chains. Since then - over the past 7 years - we have focused on learning how to grow produce like these skillful small batch farmers. Through many fun experiments, mistakes, and successes - we are finally ready to bring that knowledge to our community!
